Key Responsibilities

  • Lead real-time coverage of major US economic releases with speed, precision, and robust editorial judgment.
  • Write and publish clear, market-sensitive headlines and analysis within seconds of data crossing the wires.
  • Manage economist surveys that inform expectations before critical reports.
  • Develop and refine automated workflows, including Python-based tools, to ingest, validate, and analyze structured economic data in real time.
  • Collaborate with reporters, data analysts, product managers, and engineers to bolster Bloomberg’s real-time data capabilities.
  • Thoughtfully apply AI tools to enhance reporting workflows, extract insights from data, and broaden coverage depth.

Required Qualifications

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is 90,000 - 125,000 USD Annually, plus comprehensive benefits and a bonus. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
