The Role

We are actively seeking a Product Manager - Digital Assets to spearhead Bloomberg's digital asset strategy across various financial product areas. In this pivotal role, you will be the owner of the Crypto product strategy, meticulously shaping the data and analytics that our clients critically depend on. This includes comprehensive crypto asset coverage and advanced stablecoin analytics.

Beyond crypto, you will play a crucial role in guiding Bloomberg's broader digital asset strategy. This involves collaborating with diverse teams across the company to elucidate how tokenization and distributed-ledger technology are influencing traditional asset classes, market structures, and capital-markets workflows. You will engage directly with clients and blockchain protocols across multiple regions to deeply understand their needs, leveraging these insights to significantly influence future product direction. Serving as a vital voice for the digital asset transition, you will help internal Bloomberg teams understand how their offerings should evolve. Effective communication and influence with stakeholders at all organizational levels will be essential, requiring an adaptive approach to ensure solutions remain relevant and aligned with strategic priorities.

You will work in close partnership with teams company-wide to validate strategies, pinpoint opportunities, and foster alignment on critical digital-asset initiatives. This is a high-visibility position that will directly shape how Bloomberg serves its clients within this rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and continuously evolve the Crypto product strategy, utilizing a robust prioritization framework to drive measurable outcomes.
• Partner directly with institutional clients across all regions to comprehend their workflows, identify new opportunities, and translate client needs into actionable product strategies.
• Serve as Bloomberg's primary subject-matter expert on digital assets, maintaining a deep and current understanding of blockchain technology, tokenization, custody models, and market structure.
• Drive cross-organizational digital-asset strategy by educating peers, establishing clear frameworks, identifying interdependencies, and aligning priorities across departments.
• Represent Bloomberg in critical client discussions, influential industry working groups, and major conferences.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic direction, preparing comprehensive recommendations and updates that help shape Bloomberg's digital-asset priorities.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of extensive product management or strategy experience within financial markets and technology.
• A strong foundational understanding of capital-markets infrastructure, trading workflows, or financial data products.
• Proven experience in creating a compelling product vision and roadmap, adeptly assessing technical trade-offs, managing competing priorities effectively, and overseeing product releases.
• A demonstrated track record of influencing outcomes in complex matrixed organizations and successfully driving strategy across multiple stakeholder groups without direct authority.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, present effectively to leadership, and engage external audiences.

Desired Qualifications

• At least two years of direct experience working with digital assets in institutional contexts.
• Experience with advanced blockchain technology, sophisticated tokenization models, or on-chain data systems.
• Existing relationships with key institutional crypto clients or prominent blockchain protocol teams.
• A history of successfully building product strategy in emerging or ambiguous market segments.
