Role Overview
The Middle Office Options Sr. Associate is a front-line technical operations role based in London. You will manage operational risk and ensure front-to-back trade integrity within the options business, with secondary focus on DeFi. This role bridges trading, risk, and engineering, making it ideal for candidates with a junior quant mindset, fluency in Python and SQL, and hands-on experience in automation, risk frameworks, and reconciliation processes.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain automated reconciliation tools for trade matching and settlements.
- Design and implement risk and P&L attribution frameworks using Python/SQL.
- Work with traders and quants to monitor margin utilization and risk constraints.
- Act as a liaison with Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams for accurate trade capture.
- Develop scripts, dashboards, and alerts to track operational anomalies.
- Assist with structured product lifecycle including digital options and on-chain derivatives.
- Contribute to internal documentation and evolve options market methodologies.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics.
- 4+ years in financial operations, quantitative middle office, or derivatives support.
- Fluency in Python and SQL; experience with pandas, NumPy, Jupyter is a plus.
- Experience in building automated tools for trade capture and reconciliation.
- Solid understanding of options pricing, margining, and exposure calculations.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
