About the Role

Block Labs is looking for a data-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to transform blockchain and product data into clear, actionable insights. The candidate will own the end-to-end analytics stack for wallet funnels, wagering behavior, lifecycle marketing, and compliance using tools such as SQL, dbt, Python, Amplitude, and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build Tableau dashboards for core KPIs like GGR/NGR, ARPU, LTV, churn, and conversion rates.
  • Develop production-grade SQL queries using CTEs, window functions, and incremental models for data modeling.
  • Utilize Python for analysis, ETL/backfills, API integrations, and automation.
  • Analyze blockchain data including EVM logs, token transfers, and wallet clustering.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing/CRM, Risk/Compliance, and Engineering teams to ensure data quality and robust tracking plans.
  • Design and evaluate A/B experiments, cohorts, and attribution models within iGaming and compliance frameworks.
  • Automate recurring reporting and alerting for KPI tracking.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics; crypto or iGaming experience preferred.
  • Advanced SQL skills including complex joins and window functions.
  • Expertise in Tableau (LOD expressions, data modeling, optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with dbt and its integration in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analytics and integration tasks.
  • Good understanding of crypto wallets, transaction flows and on-chain analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with dbt Cloud, data quality tools, and workflow orchestration (Airflow, Prefect).
  • Hands-on experience with modern data warehouses (ClickHouse, AWS, Amazon S3).
  • Knowledge in data governance and privacy standards such as GDPR.
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, and Google Analytics.
