Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Assistant Professor of English. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching English courses, developing engaging curriculum materials, mentoring students, and conducting assessments. Additional duties may include facilitating discussions on literature, guiding student projects, participating in departmental activities, and contributing to the academic growth of the institution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English Teaching and general Teaching methodologies
- Expertise in English Literature and Literature studies
- Experience in Curriculum Development and creating innovative educational strategies
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- A master’s or doctoral degree in English or a related field is required
- Previous teaching experience in higher education is an asset
