Role Summary

The BXMA Investment Associate - Absolute Return works in the CIO Office. This role involves conducting investment, market, and portfolio analyses, managing workflows, and engaging with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead strategic initiatives across teams and business lines.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct regular and ad hoc research on investment strategies and market trends.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality content for internal and external audiences.
  • Internal Communications: Represent the CIO Office and consolidate business priorities into executive-ready dashboards.
  • Process Management: Organize and optimize workflows to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

Candidates should have at least 3+ years of professional experience in investment banking, sales & trading, management consulting, or a related field. A strong knowledge of capital markets, corporate finance, and bespoke investment strategies is required. Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel are essential, with additional experience in Tableau and Python being a plus. A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected annual base salary ranges from $150,000 to $175,000 with additional compensation including comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, 401(k) plan, and potential equity or incentive compensation.
