Overview
Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager, is creating positive economic impact and long-term value. The Legal & Compliance - AML, AVP role is part of a specialized Financial Crime Second Line function focused on exemplary AML standards.
Responsibilities
- Act as escalation point for AML, CTF, sanctions, ABC, and anti-tax evasion matters.
- Provide expert advice to various business units on financial crime compliance.
- Support the global investor onboarding process and high-risk reviews.
- Perform KYC, AML support on asset transactions and conduct due diligence.
- Assist with investor re-identification and risk alert escalations across EMEA.
- Develop and review policies, procedures and monitoring frameworks.
- Prepare management information and present key topics to stakeholders.
- Support financial crime testing, internal audits, and regulatory requests.
Experience & Qualifications
Candidates should have 4-6 years experience in financial crime compliance, preferably within asset management. A strong educational background, solid technical expertise, and proven stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Project management, excellent judgment, strong communication, and the ability to work independently are vital.
