About This Role
The Vice President, Aladdin Data Platform Managed Services is a hands on execution leader responsible for flawless daily operations across global L1/L2 support, onboarding, platform reliability, incident management, and client servicing for BlackRock teams and clients. The role drives disciplined operational practices, predictable outcomes, and rigorous monitoring, triage, SLA enforcement, and production stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Operations & L1/L2 Support: Run global L1/L2 operations with precise incident triage, monitoring, and documentation.
- Pipeline & Use Case Onboarding: Lead onboarding workflows ensuring engineering, data, and operations deliverables for seamless go lives.
- Client Servicing & Experience: Own client service operations with timely delivery, feedback loops, and prompt issue closure.
- Transformation & AI Innovation: Implement AI-led workflows and incremental automation to improve performance.
- Incident & Problem Management: Lead incident calls, ensure quality RCAs, and drive MTTR reductions with structured follow through.
Skills & Qualifications
Deep understanding of data platforms (cloud, data lakes, warehouses, streaming), ETL/ELT orchestration, monitoring, observability, service management, incident, problem and change management. Proven ability to manage client impacting operations, enforce SLAs/SLOs, drive automation and AI based improvements, along with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
