About This Role
The Private Data Service (PDS) team at BlackRock provides world-class expertise in the collection and validation of investment data for investors in alternative assets. PDS streamlines the exchange of data between limited and general partners, allowing investors continuous access to accurate and standardized data. Private Data Service is a part of Aladdin Business, comprising over 1,500+ professionals responsible for implementing and supporting Aladdin clients, sales, and marketing, and ensuring the Aladdin Community maximizes Aladdin products through engagement and education.
We are seeking process-driven data Analysts with a financial and client relationship background to join the data governance team. This role involves processing, analyzing, validating, and reviewing financial information submitted to a large provider of risk finance in Luxembourg. Our client enhances the lending capacity of financial intermediaries and stimulates bank lending to SMEs and medium-sized enterprises by providing guarantees that encourage financial intermediaries to increase lending volumes.
The Portfolio Services and Client Relationship Specialist will process, analyze, and validate periodic investor reports from financial intermediaries. Key tasks include reviewing transaction performance by monitoring outstanding amounts, defaults, and triggers, investigating warnings, and escalating issues as required. The role demands daily communication with financial intermediaries and the client to obtain investor reports and information for successful processing, analysis, and inclusion of transaction data in the client’s database.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and deliver an excellent client experience through daily interactions.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of control environment, policies, and procedures, including drafting and updating team documentation.
- Obtain and review quarterly inclusion reports.
- Analyze and monitor monthly/quarterly investor reports data within the client’s in-house system.
- Perform preliminary checks on monthly/quarterly investor data.
- Verify compliance and quality of data provided in investor reports against contractual terms.
- Send weekly status summaries to the client.
- Draft quarterly risk reports.
- Communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, analysis, and flagging of potential concerns per agreements.
- Troubleshoot and support Financial Intermediaries.
- Perform data input activities.
- Assist stakeholders with ad hoc tasks and project work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or an equivalent field, combined with 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Customer and data-focused with strong client service/relationship and data management experience, coupled with a passion for service excellence.
- Comfortable liaising with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; additional languages like French, Spanish, German, or Italian are advantageous.
- Ambitious, proactive problem solver with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, and a willingness to stretch and grow beyond your comfort zone.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver tasks as promised, maintaining high quality and consistent results.

Our Hybrid Work Model
