About the Digital Content Strategist / Taxonomist Role
BlackRock is seeking a Digital Content Strategist / Taxonomist to help shape the future of its global web platforms including ishares.com and blackrock.com. Based in Budapest, you will work at the intersection of content, technology, and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Audit existing content structures to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
- Standardize content grouping, categorization, taxonomy, and metadata.
- Validate taxonomy effectiveness through feedback from experts and users.
- Collaborate with engineers to implement taxonomy in the CMS.
- Develop guidelines, playbooks, and training documentation.
- Work with content publishers to monitor taxonomy usage.
- Establish processes for review and updates of the taxonomy system.
- Analyze website analytics to identify navigation improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, SEO teams, and design system teams.
Requirements
- 3–5 years experience in content strategy, information architecture, or taxonomy management.
- Proven experience with large-scale websites and CMS platforms (ideally AEM).
- Strong understanding of metadata, tagging systems, and SEO best practices.
- Excellent documentation, training, and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English with strong presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Work from office requirement: four days per week.
