About This Role

BlackRock SMA Solutions is seeking an experienced Client Onboarding Analyst to join our Princeton, NJ based team. This role focuses on delivering a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new client accounts enrolling in BlackRock’s SMA strategies.

Team Overview

The SMA Solutions team customizes portfolios for unique tax, values-alignment, or investment exposures. It serves a diverse client base from wealth advisors to family offices, endowments, and foundations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Facilitate end-to-end onboarding of new SMA client accounts.
  • Collect, review and verify documentation for account setup.
  • Guide financial advisors through the onboarding process.
  • Liaise with Sales, Legal & Compliance, and Portfolio Managers for accuracy.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.

Experience & Skills

1-3 years in financial services; previous client onboarding or service experience is required. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in Excel is a must with SQL, Python, or similar as a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: USD 76,000 - 95,000 with potential annual discretionary bonus. Benefits include healthcare, leave, retirement, and more. BlackRock follows a pay-for-performance philosophy.

Work Model

This is a hybrid role requiring at least 4 days in the office per week, with 1 day remote flexibility.
