This role is within Preqin, a key part of BlackRock, focused on revolutionizing private markets data and technology. Preqin complements the existing Aladdin technology platform to deliver comprehensive investment solutions globally. The CX Redistribution Partnerships team, part of Preqin Client Success, is dedicated to ensuring Redistribution Partners receive efficient, high-quality support and maximize the value derived from Preqin’s data. This team acts as a vital technical and operational resource, guiding partners through Preqin's datasets, workflows, and delivery channels.
The team collaborates extensively with Client Engagement, Product, Data, and the broader Aladdin ecosystem to provide a cohesive, top-tier client experience, emphasizing operational excellence and client centricity.
Your Impact as an Analyst, Client Experience
We are looking for an Analyst to join the Client Solutions team, specifically within the Redistribution Partnerships function. In this front-line role, you will deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality support to our Redistribution Partners across chat, email, and phone channels. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting inquiries, resolving operational and data-related questions, and ensuring a seamless and consistent experience that upholds the high standards of the Preqin Client Experience organization.
As part of the CX Redistribution function, you will be instrumental in enhancing partner engagement, streamlining channel interactions, and maintaining the operational excellence essential for supporting a rapidly expanding ecosystem. This position reports to the London-based Regional CX Lead for Redistribution Partnerships, who in turn reports to the Global Head of Preqin Client Experience in New York.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional support by understanding how Redistribution Partners leverage Preqin for private markets workflows.
- Resolve complex inquiries pertaining to data methodology, mappings, taxonomy, identifiers, feeds, and delivery specifications.
- Provide consistent, high-quality support via chat, email, and phone, while meticulously capturing insights to inform process and product enhancements.
- Collaborate effectively with Client Engagement, Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure a unified and efficient partner experience.
- Identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement, contributing observations to process enhancements, documentation updates, and workflow refinements to elevate service delivery.
- Engage in continuous learning, deepening your expertise in Preqin’s data, tools, private markets content, and internal systems, adapting quickly to evolving processes and new capabilities.
- Contribute to a positive, innovative team culture, fostering an environment where ideas are welcomed, teamwork is encouraged, and curiosity and problem-solving are prioritized.
Who We Are Looking For
- Clear and confident communication skills, adept at translating complex technical or data-methodology concepts into simple, practical guidance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining organization while managing multiple inquiries and dynamic priorities.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a global team setting.
- Foundational understanding of, or strong curiosity for, Private Markets and Alternative Investments.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including lookups, pivots, and data exploration).
- Eagerness to deepen expertise in Preqin’s data methodology, mappings, identifiers, taxonomy, feeds, and specifications.
- Experience or interest in data tools such as Snowflake, Metabase, or Postman (preferred but not required).
- Minimum requirements: a bachelor’s undergraduate degree and 0–2 years of relevant experience in client service, data operations, analytics, or a related field.
