About This Role
As an Aladdin COO Team Associate, you will join the Commercial Operations & Transactions team within the Aladdin COO organization at BlackRock. This team is pivotal in maintaining the commercial, regulatory, and operational integrity of the Aladdin business, collaborating with various functions across Aladdin and BlackRock. The role supports contracting, regulatory readiness, governance, and cross-functional initiative execution, acting as a key enabler for Aladdin's operational resilience and commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with global regulatory expectations across regions and business areas.
You will play a critical role in supporting Aladdin’s regulatory readiness, commercial execution, and cross-functional change agenda. Responsibilities include monitoring emerging regulations, assisting with analysis and impact assessments, contributing to regulatory implementation programs, and helping to define materials that demonstrate Aladdin’s operational resilience and compliance posture. Additionally, you will support broader COO-sponsored initiatives covering organizational design, office footprint strategy, entity governance, and operational alignment within the EMEA Aladdin Business.
About You
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a strong interest in technology, commercial execution, regulation, operational resilience, and complex cross-functional projects. You should be comfortable interpreting regulatory material, synthesizing information for senior audiences, and collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups.
What We Are Looking For
- 3–5 years’ experience in regulatory analysis, operational resilience, COO/business operations, legal/commercial operations, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret regulatory text, contractual language, and operational documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing materials for senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with regulatory or operational frameworks (e.g., outsourcing rules, resilience regimes).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across various teams.
- Proficiency in English required; additional languages desirable.
