Job Overview

This role is ideal for those passionate about software quality and testing. The Principal Software Test Specialist will work with secure messaging applications on Android, iOS, and PC platforms, ensuring high quality software releases and participating in cross-team initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in Agile SCRUM with multiple stakeholders.
  • Execute in-sprint QA activities ensuring production grade quality.
  • Analyze and reproduce complex issues based on test results and customer inquiries.
  • Design and implement manual and automated test cases.
  • Engage in special projects to improve testing methodologies and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in software verification and validation using mobile apps in Agile environments.
  • Strong knowledge of various software testing methodologies.
  • Experience with agile SCRUM, continuous integration, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.

Additional Assets

  • Experience with Test Rail, Jira, and VMWare.
  • Familiar with Java, Junit, Swift, Appium, Shell Script, Android OS (ADB, Gradle), and Gerrit/Git.
