Purpose of the Job
The Sales Systems Administration Manager is responsible for managing and executing software systems including Salesforce.com. The role works closely with sales, marketing, and leadership teams to provide real-time data and reporting, support decision making, drive process improvements, and train users. High data quality and continuous improvement of each application are key objectives.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
This role enables sales leaders and front-line sales executives to maximize the use of Black Box’s CRM system by providing education, developing reports and dashboards, creating processes, and driving app discovery. It requires interfacing with IT for integrating Salesforce with other systems, managing data integrity, and handling multiple initiatives and vendor relationships.
- Manage and execute CRM strategy including Salesforce.com administration.
- Create and maintain customized Salesforce solutions with reports, dashboards, and workflows.
- Educate and train new and existing users through classes and documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into CRM enhancements.
- Maintain data integrity through ongoing governance and quality control.
- Resolve technical issues and stay current with Salesforce updates and best practices.
Education/Experience Requirements
A minimum of 3-5 years in Salesforce Systems Administration, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Extensive experience with report building, Salesforce.com customization, and BI visualizations (Tableau preferred) is required. Certification in Salesforce.com Administration and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
