The Consultant - IT Desktop Engineer at Black Box is responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying hardware and software for local and remote users.

  • Configure, test, and deploy hardware and software to users.
  • Diagnose and resolve PC network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair break/fix issues.
  • Configure, troubleshoot and support Video Conferencing systems.
  • Provide solutions by identifying problems and researching answers.
  • Train users in basic troubleshooting and efficient PC usage.
  • Respond to service requests in a timely, professional manner.
  • Provide remote support via phone and remote support software.
  • Create, monitor, update, and close tickets using Service Now.
  • Adhere to Black Box corporate, technology and security policies.
  • Remain current on technical and operational details regarding PC products.
