Role Overview

As the Trading Product Experience Manager, you will build and manage a team of Full Stack Web Engineers working on BitMEX.com, its APIs, and mobile applications. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Affiliates, and other technical teams to execute BitMEX’s retail strategy, reinventing, redesigning, and redefining the UI in partnership with the Retail Growth team.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage a team of 5 full-stack engineers, hire and mentor new talent.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define a coherent crypto trading experience for retail and sophisticated traders.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical initiatives, establish best practices, and modernize product delivery.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience with an advanced degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience building, managing, and coaching multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven expertise with NodeJS and React.
  • Experience in product management and project management of complex, data-driven products.
  • Familiarity with current coding practices, design patterns, and deployment automation.
  • Experience in building real-time trading UIs and financial services.
