Role Overview: Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting

Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist in the preparation of the financial statements, MD&A, month-end close process, process improvements, SOX compliance, and other special projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and MD&A in accordance with IFRS (30%).
• Participate actively in the month-end close process including general ledger reconciliations and variance analyses (20%).
• Coordinate with the team and external audit firm for quarterly reviews and year-end audits (15%).
• Research and document the Company’s accounting policies under IFRS (15%).
• Assist in testing internal control processes and systems (10%).
• Support special projects such as financing, systems implementations/integrations, and ad hoc reporting (10%).

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation, over 4 years of experience preparing/reviewing IFRS financial statements, familiarity with US GAAP, proficiency with Microsoft 365 and accounting software, and excellent written English skills. Bilingual abilities in French/English (knowledge of Spanish is an asset) are required, along with a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and adaptability.

Work Schedule & Arrangement

Monday to Friday with a hybrid/remote work possibility. This is a full-time, permanent position.
