The Role: Cyber Intelligence Fusion Analyst Level 1

This role works under direct supervision within a team to analyze cyber threat actors and their tactics, supporting 24/7/365 SOC operations and Bitdefender MDR customers. The analyst will work on research and intelligence functions including SOC threat hunting, alert triage, investigation, and signature tuning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cross-dataset research and analysis.
• Perform alert triage and threat investigation.
• Support SOC threat hunting and customer monitoring.
• Engage in intelligence reporting and technical writing.
• Utilize threat intelligence toolsets and OSINT.

Required Skills

• Research and data correlation skills with link analysis.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence tools and OSINT.
• Understanding of advanced threat trends and tactics.
• Familiarity with network fundamentals, operating systems, and incident response tools.
• Strong written communication and technical writing abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of threat modeling and frameworks (Diamond Model, Mitre ATT&CK).
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, or incident response.
• Knowledge in cybersecurity tools, network logs, and cloud-based infrastructures.
• General grasp of hacking methodologies and system security threats.
