About the Role

The Human Resources Assistant will be an integral part of the HR Operations team, providing essential support to team members in HR service delivery. This role involves liaising with staff and managers to resolve issues efficiently. The position offers administrative support across various HR functions, including generating reports from workforce data, preparing documents, processing orders, and handling inquiries via the HR Advice line and inbox. You will also be responsible for inputting activity data using Trust information systems. This role requires cross-site working across all Birmingham Women's and Children's (BWC) Trust sites. You will work autonomously, making appropriate judgments and decisions, with a People Advisor available for reference. A key responsibility will be understanding workforce KPI reporting timeframes and providing statistical reports from HR databases. Additionally, you will provide cover for HR Operations Team colleagues during absences and assist other team members. Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality when handling sensitive information and treating colleagues with sensitivity and compassion are paramount. You will need to understand the Trust’s key priorities and how they translate within the HR Operations area.
