Role Overview: Remote Desktop Support

This role involves providing L2 remote end user support for US and Canada users. The candidate will respond to client support requests, troubleshoot issues on Windows desktop platforms, manage user queries, and escalate issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to support requests via calls, chat, and email.
  • Troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware and software issues remotely.
  • Handle issues related to OS, Office, antivirus, and network configurations.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory.
  • Support software installation, patch management, and security updates.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical support experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong experience with Windows desktop platforms and ITIL processes.
  • Knowledge of AD, O365, MS-Office, and MIM.
  • Experience with VPN configuration and mobile device security protocols.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site IT support tasks as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Outlook, browsers, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist with hardware repairs and equipment installation.
