About the role
AWS RDS Support Engineer - 4C
Birlasoft is seeking an experienced AWS RDS Support Engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience to join their team. This role focuses on supporting and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, with a specific emphasis on Relational Database Service (RDS) and related services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for AWS Services, including RDS, Aurora, VPC, and IAM.
- Manage and maintain PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including runbooks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting of infrastructure and database issues.
- Handle infrastructure provisioning and configuration of security components such as key pairs, security groups, ACLs, IAM, Directory Service, and Certificate Manager.
- Provision and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and manage Terraform pipelines.
- Utilize CloudWatch, Splunk, and New Relic for centralized monitoring of cloud environments.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of IaaS and PaaS services on cloud platforms and their integration for complex solutions.
