Account Executive, Veterans Affairs Sales at BioWave Corporation
BioWave Corporation, founded in 2000 and based in Norwalk, CT, is a rapidly scaling medical technology healthcare organization. We are dedicated to providing non-opioid Modern Pain Management Solutions to our nation’s heroes, athletes, and those suffering from chronic pain, primarily through the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, college and professional sports teams, and the broader commercial pain market.
Job Summary
BioWave is seeking a Senior Account Executive to achieve aggressive sales goals within the dedicated Wisconsin/Minnesota territory. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with key decision-makers, conducting product demonstrations, and closing sales to position BioWave as the leading pain management product for the VA. You will identify new sales opportunities, perform weekly VA clinic touches, including product demonstrations and lead generation, and maintain relationships with active customers to secure future sales. This role reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager within the VA Sales team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the weekly acquisition of new patients and quarterly acquisition of new facilities.
- Collaborate with the VA sales team to meet company and team growth objectives.
- Utilize Salesforce effectively to manage performance and sales funnel.
- Cultivate relationships and deep understanding of BioWave to generate regular referrals.
- Strategically plan 4 to 6 weeks in advance for "cluster calls" at Veteran Medical Facilities.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations (in-services) and close accounts at the provider level.
- Become an expert in BioWave products and VA protocols to better serve customers and prospects.
- Drive business development for BioWave’s comprehensive product line.
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience in or with Physical Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy, Orthopedic, Chiropractic, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or related pain management fields.
- 2+ years of sales experience.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.
- Demonstrated ability to form strong relationships across organizations, particularly within the VA and sales departments.
- Positive and persuasive communication skills.

Education
A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Physical Rehabilitation, Kinesiology, Biology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or related fields is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary starting at $60,000, dependent on experience, with uncapped commission.
