About the Role

Join Takeda as a Regional Territory Manager in New England North, focusing on Gastroenterology sales. You will drive product demand in targeted physician offices, clinics, and healthcare settings, impacting patient lives in a patient-focused environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support account on-boarding, education, and procedures.
  • Engage in clinical selling by delivering Takeda's clinical value proposition.
  • Coordinate and support clinical education and in-service programs for HCPs.
  • Manage accounts within GI practices, clinics, and independent physician offices.
  • Develop targeted sales messages utilizing approved marketing materials.
  • Establish professional relationships with healthcare decision makers.
  • Implement local marketing strategies and share ideas with team members.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare sectors. Must be experienced in therapeutic strategy discussions, clinical and business expertise, effective selling, and local marketing execution. Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic planning skills are required as well as a valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Training & Travel Requirements

Mandatory product training involving written/oral examinations is required. Initially classified as non-exempt during training (up to 40 hours/week) and then transitioned to exempt status. Must be prepared for 25-50% travel including some overnight stays.
