Job Description

Industrialization Engineer

At bioMérieux's Craponne site, you will manage projects for the transfer of new products to industrial production equipment. You will also be responsible for technical support and the improvement of existing products/processes. You will lead HOSHIN projects (strategic site projects) related to products and/or processes, in coordination with Production, Quality, and Technical Services departments. You will work closely with R&D teams for the industrialization of new products.

Project Management

  • Define the needs of internal clients (R&D, production, HSE, etc.).
  • Propose innovative solutions with the support of interfaces (Production / Quality / Technical Services, Industrial Support).
  • Dimension projects in terms of workload, deadlines, budget, and prepare associated project plans with identification of alternative plans for project success.
  • Ensure compliance with cost, deadline, and quality objectives.
  • Pilot projects by providing visibility on activities and updating KPIs.
  • Prepare and present Steering Committees to site management.
  • Write project documentation within standard deadlines.
  • Validate the execution of actions and their closure with the client.
  • Implement Lessons Learned and ensure their capitalization in the knowledge base.

Technical Expertise

  • Propose and implement process modeling tools with a scientific and technical approach to offer innovative solutions with the support of interfaces.
  • Identify opportunities for productivity improvement, cost reduction, environmental footprint reduction, and reduced strain, and evaluate associated gains.
  • Document technical activities according to current standards.
  • Provide technical expertise for Technical Department projects, including scale-up and/or automation, while respecting quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze non-conformities observed on products/processes.
  • Propose and implement preventive/corrective actions for process improvement/control.
  • Represent the department in relevant forums as needed.

Profile Description

  • You have a Master's degree (Bac +5) in Process Engineering.
  • You have prior experience in industrialization/process improvement project management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device sector.
  • You have knowledge of process modeling, Design of Experiments (DoE), and statistical tools.
  • You possess strong teamwork and adaptability skills in a dynamic, evolving environment, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills, dynamism, autonomy, and leadership.
  • You approach subjects with risk/opportunity analysis, knowledge of cGMP, and analytical skills (physico-chemistry, microbiology, data analysis).
  • You are structured in your approach, can provide visibility and structure to project team members, and excel at methodical, data-driven problem-solving.
  • You have a minimum English level of B1.
