Position Overview

The Internal Auditor at Internal Auditor reviews processes and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate governance, risk management, and internal controls. Working remotely with a requirement to be close to an international airport, the role focuses on risk detection, testing controls, audit documentation, and presenting recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze process information to detect risk areas.
  • Document regulations and adapt testing approaches based on identified risks.
  • Execute audit tests and analyze results to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare organized audit documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Track remediation efforts and validate resolution of audit issues.

Qualifications & Desired Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 2-3 years of internal auditing, preferably in supply chain or operational audits.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills (MS Office, Margin Minder, Micro-Strategy, Oracle, SAP).
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CFE, CRMA, APICS, with Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma desired.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the year.
