Job Overview

Bilt is seeking an Automation Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our React Native mobile applications. You will design, build and maintain mobile test automation frameworks, develop automated test suites covering critical user journeys, and integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline affecting both iOS and Android platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain mobile test automation frameworks using Appium and Selenium.
  • Develop and execute automated end-to-end test suites for iOS and Android.
  • Create and maintain regression suites in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Implement data-driven testing methods and write clear test scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with mobile engineers to enhance app testability and troubleshoot issues.
  • Conduct performance and load testing on mobile applications.
  • [Nice-to-have] Set up and maintain device farms or cloud-based testing environments.
  • [Nice-to-have] Support web automation using Playwright.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of mobile automation testing experience.
  • Proficiency in Appium and Selenium.
  • Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript; React Native testing is a plus.
  • Experience building automation frameworks from scratch and familiarity with mobile testing tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • [Nice-to-have] Experience with Playwright or similar web automation frameworks.
