About the Account Manager Role

As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting business development and fostering account growth across key clients within the data and analytics sector. You will collaborate closely with a Senior Account Manager, assisting in managing client relationships, coordinating sales activities, and contributing to pipeline development for both existing accounts and new business opportunities. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong commercial mindset eager to advance their career in enterprise sales, learning from experienced senior team members while taking ownership of vital activities throughout the sales process.

What You’ll Do as an Account Manager

  • Support the Senior Account Manager in developing and expanding key client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders across business and IT departments.
  • Identify new opportunities and actively contribute to account planning and pipeline development.
  • Assist in shaping compelling proposals, providing pricing support, and preparing commercial documentation.
  • Coordinate internal delivery teams to ensure seamless alignment between client needs and solution delivery.
  • Attend client meetings and actively support presentations and solution discussions.
  • Manage follow-ups, meeting notes, and critical next steps to maintain momentum in sales cycles.
  • Ensure accurate and timely pipeline updates and forecasting within CRM systems.
  • Support renewals, extensions, and identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
  • Represent Billigence professionally at networking events and client-facing industry sessions.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, with a preference for backgrounds in consulting, SaaS, or professional services.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging effectively with client stakeholders.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and a keen ability to understand diverse customer needs.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an account team structure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in preparing proposals, client documentation, and managing CRM entries.
  • A target-driven mindset coupled with a strong desire to grow into a more senior commercial role.
