Workers' Compensation Claims Representative

About the Role

biBerk is seeking an experienced worker’s compensation claims adjuster. This remote position involves managing loss time claims, determining compensability and coverage issues, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with multiple parties.

Job Responsibilities

• Determine compensability and/or coverage issues for loss time claims
• Manage a caseload across various jurisdictions
• Negotiate and direct settlements under management review
• Gather medical and factual evidence to assess claims
• Direct outside investigations and manage litigation files
• Coordinate with claimants, attorneys, investigators, and medical providers

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in workers' compensation claims
• Experience adjusting claims in Florida and multiple jurisdictions
• Bachelor's degree required; carrier experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
