About The Role

Reporting to the Team Lead Contracts Operations, the Contract Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the full scope of Commercial Contracting activity. Responsibilities include contract entry adjustments, contract reconciliation, drafting, and adherence to BLD requirements and trade book integrity. The role provides opportunities to gain intimate knowledge of commercial Sales & Marketing and Maritime contracting, along with operational execution of contractual commitments. Stakeholder management across multiple levels and functions is key, as the Contracts Operations team serves as a core line of defence for order-to-cash responsibilities.

  • Manage SAP contract capture and manual drafting process
  • Reconcile key contractual terms using iCertis/CLM
  • Participate in cross-functional working groups and improvement initiatives
  • Escalate risk control deficiencies per regulations
  • Deliver clear communications tailored to various audiences

About You

Candidates should have a basic understanding of international trade terms, freight, distribution, contract law, incoterms, and trade financial instruments. You must demonstrate strong attention to detail, initiative, and effective communication skills. Experience in contract management or commodity trading roles is preferred. Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage diverse, culturally varied stakeholders is essential.
