Job Description

Department Manager – Financial Economics

Bezeq International TECH is recruiting a Financial Economics Department Manager. This role involves managing and leading the Financial Economics department as a central professional body supporting management and strategic decision-making within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professional management and leadership of the Financial Economics department, comprising several economists, including mentoring, developing, and empowering the team.
  • Leading budget processes, multi-year forecasts, financial planning, and valuations.
  • Analysis of monthly and quarterly financial results, monitoring goal achievement, and performing ongoing forecasts.
  • Consolidating and preparing financial materials, reports, and presentations for the company's management, the Board of Directors, and the parent company, Bezeq.
  • Building business plans, feasibility studies, and economic analyses to support strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Leading optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement processes within the department.
  • Leading automation and improvement processes for financial operations within the department, including responsibility for the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems and financial tools.
  • Close collaboration with departments within the Finance Division, senior interfaces within the company, subsidiary companies, and the parent company's headquarters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics / Business Administration / Accounting – mandatory. Master's degree in a relevant field – an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in Economics / FP&A within a large company – mandatory. (Significant advantage for those from a public company).
  • Proven experience in managing an economic department for at least 3 years, including team management, mentoring, and employee development – mandatory.
  • Experience in leading budget and multi-year forecasting processes – mandatory.
  • Experience in improving, automating, and optimizing financial processes – mandatory.
  • Experience in implementing information systems and financial tools – significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles – significant advantage.
  • Experience working regularly with senior management.

Professional Skills:

  • Deep understanding of financial statements and high analytical capability.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP ORACLE & CRM systems and BI tools – Power BI, Tableau, EPM, etc.
  • Ability to lead cross-organizational projects, focusing on processes and information systems.
  • Ability to connect financial data with business operations and management needs.
