The Role: Compliance Analyst

In this role, you will support and enhance our security compliance programs with a focus on public sector compliance initiatives. You will contribute to the continuous improvement and execution of the GRC program including documentation, audit coordination, project tracking, and stakeholder communication.

What You’ll Do

• Collect, review, and manage compliance evidence for assessments.
• Interpret and communicate compliance requirements and control gaps.
• Provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and research security and compliance requests.
• Maintain compliance documentation in line with regulations.
• Support Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Incident Response initiatives.
• Deliver compliance and security awareness training.
• Adhere strictly to established procedures.
• Assist additional GRC operations as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–4 years experience in IT compliance, cybersecurity, or risk management.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53/800-171, ISO 27001/27701, and SOC 2 frameworks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret technical data and create compliance documentation.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
• Data analysis for compliance gap identification.
• Creative problem-solving to resolve compliance and security challenges.

Nice To Have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Additional GRC experience and cloud security exposure.
• Experience working with federal agencies.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP.
• General knowledge of the security audit process.
