About the Role

BEUMER Group is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the design, integration, and delivery of advanced airport baggage handling and material handling systems. In this role, you will own the technical scope by coordinating and validating mechanical, electrical, and software solutions across various teams and external partners.

General Responsibility

You will be tasked with managing technical interfaces, ensuring systems comply with contractual standards and specifications. This will involve collaborating closely with internal Project Managers, Software Project Managers, and Sub-Project Managers to address both technical and commercial issues.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead design, integration, and simulation testing processes.
  • Coordinate with customers, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Define and monitor system simulations to meet contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate on cost, timeline and quality control alongside project managers.
  • Review technical documentation and ensure quality in operation manuals.
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and testing phases.
  • Travel to project sites as required (up to 50%).

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, a minimum of 10 years’ experience in engineering and project management in logistics or similar technology systems, and at least 5 years in a leadership role are required. PMP certification is mandatory or must be obtained within one year of hire.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation ranges from $96,000 to $128,000 annually. Full-time employees enjoy medical & dental coverage, 401(k) with match, life insurance, ancillary insurances, ample paid time off, company holidays, and performance-based bonuses.
