Role Overview
The Lead Software Engineer Full Stack position is part of a cross-skilled Web, Android, and iOS development team. You will contribute to critical technical architecture, ensure operational excellence, mentor other engineers, and help shape the technical strategy without direct line management responsibilities.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Own vertical architecture and align technical strategy.
- Drive operational excellence and resolve complex technical issues.
- Write clear, maintainable code for engineers at all levels.
- Influence technical decisions balancing short and long term needs.
- Mentor and coach team members to boost technical expertise.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support software operations.
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with front end and back end technologies (React, NodeJS a plus).
- Expert in designing scalable, fault tolerant, and highly available systems.
- Experience influencing technical decisions across large engineering teams.
- Strong proficiency with AWS and modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or functional/OO languages.
- Solid understanding of design patterns, architectural principles, and complex algorithms.
- Next.js experience and exposure to innovative technologies are advantages.
