About The Role: Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Specialist to join our dynamic team at Zywave. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that support our mission to transform the insurance industry through technology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality applications that meet client needs and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating impactful software solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions that align with business requirements and industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
