About The Role

The Data Analyst role at Best Job Tool involves supporting actionable insights across the business by analyzing and interpreting data at an operational level. This role improves business processes, supports reporting frameworks, and ensures data quality. It is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm) based at the client’s head office near Cosham. Candidates are preferred to have their own vehicle, though public transport links are available.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, and other analytical tools is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills are required. Previous experience with large datasets and translating data into insights is desirable. A proactive attitude and a desire for continuous professional development (including certifications like CII) are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, management reports, and ad hoc analyses.
• Monitor performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
• Support data-driven initiatives for operational efficiency and improved customer experience.
• Assist in developing reporting frameworks and data quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest techniques and tools in data analysis.
