About the Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician Role
As a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician at Best Buy, you will work at our local store to provide technology support and repair customers’ computers and other devices. You will deliver excellent customer experiences by listening to their needs and collaborating with other Geek Squad Agents.
What You’ll Do
- Perform diagnostic discoveries and troubleshooting.
- Recommend and repair devices for in-person and phone support.
- Establish timely follow-up routines to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain consistent and accurate documentation of repairs.
- Collaborate with team members and escalate issues as needed.
- Keep skills and certifications updated via training courses.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, or repairing technology products.
- Hands-on experience with consumer electronics and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends.
