Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, a community-governed non-profit organization, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Emergency Room to join our Emergency Room team in Springville, New York. Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including triage, assessment, and treatment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and families on treatment plans and healthcare options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and quality improvement
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless transitions of care
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- Must have a minimum One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse, in an Emergency Room setting
- Associates degree in Nursing (ASN) or equivalent, BSN preferred
- BLS, ACLS, PALS or within 1 year of employment
- Ability to work variable 12 hour shifts including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
