Senior Financial Analyst Role

The Senior Financial Analyst at Berkadia plays an integral role in financial planning and reporting for the Servicing organization, with exposure across all business segments. In this role, you will work closely with senior executives and team leaders to translate business strategies into measurable financial metrics and monitor their outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
  • Lead monthly forecasting and contribute to annual budgeting efforts.
  • Analyze financial variances and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and presentations to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver financial insights and support planning initiatives.
  • Execute special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, preferably in mortgage servicing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
  • Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis using Excel, Workday, and Adaptive Planning.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex financial insights.
  • Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3+ years in a similar role.
