Overview
BeOne Medicines is rapidly growing and seeking an experienced Senior Statistical Programmer to join the Scientific Programming team. The role emphasizes using real-world data to generate high-quality analytic outputs that inform strategic scientific and business decisions.
General Description
The Senior Statistical Programmer will lead programming activities for real-world evidence (RWE) generation using large-scale healthcare data sources, including electronic health records, claims, and registry data. This position involves collaborating with biostatistics, epidemiology, and medical affairs teams to develop analysis-ready datasets, visualizations, and outputs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and maintain datasets, tables, figures, and listings.
- Conduct exploratory data analyses for study design and feasibility.
- Interact with study leads to determine programming solutions.
- Standardize and automate data processing workflows.
- Create interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI and R-Shiny.
- Write, test, and validate programming outputs for regulatory and publication needs.
- Develop and maintain macros and utilities at product and study levels.
- Serve as a technical resource and contribute to programming standards.
- Interface with outsourcing partners and vendors.
Education & Experience
A Master’s degree is required, with at least 2 years of RWD programming experience in healthcare analytics using R or SQL, SAS required, or 3+ years of clinical research programming preferred. Proficiency in SQL and R is essential, along with basic knowledge of statistical methodologies and study design.
Desired Experience
The ideal candidate is an expert in R, SQL or SAS programming with extensive experience handling large-scale healthcare datasets, supporting HEOR, epidemiology, or medical affairs teams, and has exposure to oncology studies and regulatory submissions.

Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: $99,800 - $134,800 annually. Compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and location. Additional benefits include bonuses, equity awards, comprehensive medical benefits, 401(k), and more.
