Role Overview: Senior Administrative Assistant, Strategy
BeOne Medicines is seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Head of Strategy and other department members. This role demands a detail-oriented problem-solver with exceptional flexibility to coordinate across various functions. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, the ability to manage diverse needs, be self-motivated, and demonstrate resourcefulness in building relationships throughout the global BeOne organization.
Essential Functions Of The Job
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Strategy and other department members.
- Manage complex and heavy calendaring, scheduling, expenses, and travel arrangements.
- Understand business priorities and proactively identify ways to streamline the support matrix.
- Build and maintain key external relationships vital to the core business.
- Build and maintain strong internal cross-functional relationships across BeOne.
- Ensure and maintain strict confidentiality for all appropriate communications and documentation.
- Partner effectively across the Strategic Partnerships team.
- Schedule and coordinate candidate phone, video, and in-office interviews.
- Process purchase requisitions and contracts.
- Provide additional administrative assistance as needed for the assigned department.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience assisting high-level leaders; experience supporting multiple disciplines is a plus.
- Extensive experience efficiently multi-tasking between various business partners and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to take on increased responsibility as the company grows.
- Proven ability to work independently in an ambiguous yet fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, a team-oriented philosophy, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to relate well with all levels of management and peers.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
Education Required
- High School education is required; a Bachelor’s degree is a significant plus.
Computer Skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Concur, and Zoom.
