Job Description

About Bending Spoons

At Bending Spoons, we are dedicated to building one of the greatest companies of all time. Our mission is to serve a vast customer base, foster employee growth to their full potential, operate with exceptional effectiveness and efficiency, generate extraordinary value for shareholders, and uphold high ethical standards.

We achieve this by acquiring and enhancing digital businesses for long-term ownership and operation. Our transformative approach involves deep improvements designed to accelerate innovation, benefit customers, and boost business performance. We foster a low-hierarchy environment with small, talent-dense teams, operating established products with the agility and urgency of a startup. AI is deeply integrated into our workflows, creating a synergy between human judgment and machine intelligence.

For ambitious, driven, and collaborative individuals, Bending Spoons offers a unique opportunity for rapid learning, significant impact, and career advancement.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Manager

  • Support Spooners with daily IT needs, managing and resolving escalated helpdesk requests.
  • Design automated first-response systems and enhance support workflows with improved tooling.
  • Lead the integration of IT stacks from newly acquired companies into a unified ecosystem.
  • Ensure compatibility, continuity, and strong operational standards across integrated systems.
  • Maintain the security and reliability of office IT infrastructure, including networking, conferencing, and access control.
  • Manage hardware and software onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper provisioning and documentation.
  • Provide technical support for live events, including setup, testing, and real-time troubleshooting.

What We Look For

  • Reasoning Ability: Solve complex problems with first-principles thinking, structured ideas, and attention to detail.
  • Drive: Possess intense ambition, initiative, effort, and tenacity, with a strong sense of responsibility and high standards.
  • Team Spirit: Be generous, supportive of the best ideas, willing to help, and maintain honesty and transparency.
  • Proficiency in English: Read, write, and speak English at a high level.
  • Proficiency in Local Office Language: Read, write, and speak the language of the office (Italian, Polish, or Spanish).

What We Offer

  • Incredibly talented, entrepreneurial teams: Work in small, autonomous, result-oriented teams with top professionals.
  • Exceptional opportunity for growth: We prioritize placing high-potential individuals in ideal positions for success.
  • Competitive pay and equity: Attractive salaries with potential for equity in the company.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Flexible hours, remote working options, unlimited learning and training support, top-tier health insurance, relocation assistance, generous parental support, and an annual retreat.

Commitment & Contract

  • Type: Permanent or fixed-term.
  • Schedule: Full-time.

Location

  • London (UK), Warsaw (Poland), Madrid (Spain).

The Selection Process

We value verifiable signals of excellence over seniority. Don't self-reject if you feel you lack experience; apply if you believe you can excel. The process involves challenging tests that may cover unfamiliar problems and require significant time. We maintain high standards and only extend offers to the right candidates, which may lead to roles remaining open or being reposted.

We provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Please use the provided form for accommodation requests.

Before You Apply

If you've applied before without an offer, we recommend waiting at least one year before reapplying. Bending Spoons is a demanding environment requiring significant commitment due to our high standards and ambition. This environment fosters extraordinary learning, achievement, and career growth.

To facilitate a quick ramp-up and success, we recommend an initial period (first few months) working from our Milan office, regardless of your long-term location. This immersion helps rapidly absorb company culture and build team trust, with support for travel and accommodation. Post-immersion, you can work from our Milan or London offices, or remotely from approved countries, as agreed upon.
