About the Role
The Supply Chain Manager NW Aggregates is responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operations of quarries in the North West business unit. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and company requirements while leading overall project management, planning of project activities, fleet management, contractor and employee supervision, safety programs, and reporting. Additionally, the role provides sales support to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall campaign project progress regarding time, cost, and quality.
- Plan and monitor project activities and fleet management.
- Supervise contractors and employees onsite ensuring health and safety.
- Implement safety, health, and environmental programs.
- Support sales with internal and external customer needs.
Background And Experience Required
Applicants should hold a tertiary qualification in engineering or mining; qualifications in HSEQ or Project Management are highly regarded. Quarrying experience is beneficial but not essential. At least 5 years of practical experience, including 2 years in a direct supervisory role, are required. Experience working in remote locations is important, along with excellent verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
