  • Assist in implementing preventive strategies and provide input into maintenance plans.
  • Support the Contistretch Superintendent to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to the management and upkeep of master data, CMMS inputs, and improvement records.
  • Assist with contractor coordination or small project tasks as required.
  • Monitor critical spares and equipment condition.
  • Apply and promote safe work practices to support a strong safety culture.

You are a mechanically skilled tradesperson with strong practical instincts and a passion for continuous improvement. You enjoy solving mechanical problems, improving equipment performance, and collaborating within a team-focused industrial environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, heavy industrial, or mining environments.
  • Proven ability to solve mechanical issues and apply sound maintenance and reliability principles.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Ability to prioritise work across multiple tasks while maintaining high quality.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (essential) and/or other CMMS planning systems.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, MS Project, and general computer systems.
  • Strong commitment to safety and Zero Harm.
