Join the innovative Diabetes Alliance Program Plus (DAP+) team at Hunter New England Local Health District, dedicated to enhancing diabetes care across the Hunter New England region. This temporary full-time role, classified as Administration Off Level 4, offers a salary of $75,176.80 – $76,897.65 per annum for 38 hours per week.
Where You'll Be Working
You will be based at Wisteria House, James Fletcher Campus in Newcastle, working within a dynamic multidisciplinary team. The DAP+ program focuses on improving diabetes care through specialist outreach and integrated models within primary care. About The Role
We are seeking a capable and organized Administration Officer to be the operational engine room for the DAP+ team. This pivotal role involves supporting both face-to-face and virtual case conference clinic administration, ensuring system accuracy, providing patient and customer service, managing education administration, assisting with data extraction and collection, and generally ensuring the smooth behind-the-scenes operation of the team.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing general administrative support, including diary management, travel arrangements, timesheet and leave/payroll processing, and managing correspondence.
- Prioritizing and monitoring workflow under limited direction to ensure tasks and projects are completed efficiently.
- Preparing reports, documents, newsletters, and complex correspondence.
- Organizing and providing secretariat support for meetings and committees, including agenda and minute preparation.
- Coordinating meeting rooms and video/teleconferencing facilities.
- Offering professional reception services for internal and external inquiries.
- Monitoring billing quality control and waitlist management.
- Supporting procurement processes and maintaining accurate patient and program data.
