What the Role Involves

Working closely with stakeholders to define scope, effort, assumptions, and dependencies, and to design process improvements that reduce identified risks.

Managing business improvement plans and ensuring priorities are set and executed accordingly.

Implementing process improvements that generate productivity gains for the sales organization, accelerate time-to-market, reduce risks, and meet due diligence requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of your assigned sales process and act as the sales Subject Matter Expert for Bell Business Markets.
  • Define, establish, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sales processes to measure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct in-depth root cause analysis for process deviations, inefficiencies, and recurring issues to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Leverage the power of AI and other automation technologies to identify, analyze, and implement optimizations of existing sales processes, thereby increasing efficiency and improving user experience.
  • Determine OpEx/CapEx requirements for your initiatives and establish benefit forecasts.
  • Develop detailed business requirements, create compelling business cases, and articulate the value proposition for new AI solutions.
  • Develop an integrated process improvement plan, set its timeline, and monitor its progress until completion.
  • Ensure alignment among all internal stakeholders regarding specific proposed process improvements and obtain approvals from all relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across BCE to identify areas for improvement in the sales process and tools for the Bell Business Markets Sales team and resolve issues or difficulties encountered by process stakeholders.
  • Diligently document processes and process changes.
  • Develop tools and deliver presentations related to sales processes for a large number of sales representatives.
  • Lead the conceptualization, definition, and development of new Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven process improvements within the Bell Business Markets (BBM) sales organization.
  • Act as a Bell Business Markets (BBM) sales Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AI initiatives, providing strategic guidance and insights for development.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition, user adoption, and sustainable adherence to new and improved sales processes.
  • Create communication plans and newsletters to announce changes related to sales processes.
  • Create a detailed quick reference guide for the sales team to understand the change and for the training team to use in developing training.
  • Provide training to all process users when changes occur, or provide reminders when necessary.
  • Act as a coach and advisor to all stakeholders within sales processes.

Qualifications

  • Six or more years of experience with recognized results.
  • University degree in Business Administration (undergraduate or MBA).
  • Experience in process management and design, project management, change management, or coordination.
  • Tool Proficiency: Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Salesforce.com tools is considered an asset.
  • AI and Business Applications Knowledge: Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and their practical application in sales processes and business operations.
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Demonstrated strong understanding of financial principles and business operations.
  • Bell Business Markets (BBM) Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Bell Business Markets (BBM) group, including service functions, operating models, and core processes.
  • Contract and Sales Governance: Expertise in Bell Business Markets' contracting process, sales governance frameworks, and related best practices.
  • Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) Compliance: Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) compliance requirements and their impact on sales processes.
  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to effectively lead teams, maximizing individual strengths and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Strategic Leadership and Risk Management: Demonstrated leadership in generating innovative solution ideas, identifying project risks, and developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Interpersonal and Relationship Skills: High energy, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Presentation and Influence: Aptitude for effective presentations, capable of inspiring confidence in peers, team members, and senior management.
  • Organizational Communication: Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, quickly summarize complex concepts, and effectively resolve issues.
  • Process Performance Management: Experience in developing and implementing process performance measures and reporting frameworks.
  • Organization and Time Management: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritize, and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Strategic Thinking and Big Picture Vision: Ability to connect disparate processes, understand overall business objectives, and maintain a broad perspective.
