Role Summary

The Conseiller, architecture de système will develop automation tools that support clients of all sizes. You will ensure that software code adheres to development standards and participate in peer code reviews. Additionally, you will work in an on-call support team for Windows and Linux systems, ensuring robust client solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Obtain and maintain a valid Canadian Security Clearance level II (Secret).
  • Install, backup, update security patches, and maintain SQL servers and application servers.
  • Create maintenance plans and configure SQL servers per industry standards.
  • Update documentation and procedures, and attend team, client, and vendor meetings.
  • Provide L1 and L2 support during incidents and production issues.
  • Monitor system performance, optimize queries, indexes, and transactions.
  • Perform backup tests and quality control.
  • Engage in all phases of software development including project, architecture, deployment, and maintenance of databases.
  • Offer 24x7 support during critical production incidents.

Additional Requirements

A valid Canadian Government Security Clearance level II (Secret) is required. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is an asset, especially for Quebec positions.
