You’ll join a team of passionate and driven innovators, who are breaking barriers and expanding the reach of Canada’s most-loved entertainment. We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications Intern to join our dynamic team, supporting internal and external communications initiatives for Bell Media’s English Entertainment content portfolio which includes Crave and CTV. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience, build your portfolio, and network with industry leaders.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy: Contribute to and execute social media strategies designed to enhance CTV and Crave PR handles.
- Content Creation & Editing: Write, edit, and proofread compelling communications materials, including weekly/monthly Crave alerts, screener emails, LinkedIn, and Instagram posts.
- Content Management: Populate and maintain content on The Lede (our internal content platform) using WordPress, including uploading photo assets and screeners, as well as updating and curation of social media platforms.
- Media Monitoring: Conduct daily media monitoring of assigned programs and brands.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports, working with AI tools and Meltwater, for earned media coverage and campaign performance, creating insightful presentations for executive leadership.
- Event Support: Assist the communications team in planning and executing events and press days.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a University/College program specializing in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interest in a career in entertainment communications.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Resourceful and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Additional Information
This is a Temporary - Full-time contract position based in Toronto, Ontario. The work arrangement is hybrid, requiring successful candidates to report to a Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
