Field Sales Representative
Summary of Essential Functions: Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, providing sales and support to expand the customer base in the area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide sales support for clients of all sizes.
- Cold call potential new customers.
- Follow up on sales leads from customer employees & contractors.
- Discuss needs for pipes, valves, fittings (PVF), and other products.
- Communicate with store manager to ensure inventory needs are met.
- Support other staff members as requested by the branch manager.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Work safely and follow all safety and environmental requirements including active participation in safety training. Must maintain a clean driving record as per company policy.
Qualifications include: - 4 years of experience in a supply store environment - 2 years of PVF-specific experience - Navision software experience preferred - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Physical ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and perform bending and stooping as necessary
Work Environment & Travel:
This position works inside a Bell Supply Store with provided training and equipment. Travel to job sites is required.
