About the Role
As a Marketing Assistant, you will handle various marketing tasks that support our clients' needs and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Copywriting & Content Development: Write and edit blog posts, social media content, emails and sales documents, develop lead magnets, and manage a content calendar.
- Social Media Management: Increase followers and engagement on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram; respond to messages and monitor brand sentiment.
- Email Marketing & List Management: Create email templates and workflows with Mailchimp and manage segmented lists.
- Audio & Video Editing: Edit short videos and audio clips for social media and online courses.
- Graphic Design: Create visuals using tools such as Canva that align with client branding.
- Tech Administration & CRM Management: Assist with CRM workflows, data management, and outreach reporting.
- Project Coordination: Use project management tools to coordinate tasks and deadlines.
- Vendor Research & Management: Manage vendor relationships for paid media and technology solutions.
- SEO & Keyword Research: Optimize content for search engines and update metadata.
- Community & Podcast Management: Moderate online communities, manage podcast guest outreach, and handle editing and publishing.
- Course & Webinar Coordination: Set up and manage online courses, track engagement, and coordinate webinars.
Qualifications
Must be available Monday through Friday during business hours. A reliable home office setup, proficiency with digital marketing tools and understanding of social media best practices are essential.
Required Skills
- Social Media Expertise on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Proven ability to develop content strategies and manage digital tools.
- Experience with analytics and performance tracking tools.
- Remote work capability with strong time management.
Preferred Skills
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated and excellent communicator.
- Adaptable problem-solver who anticipates client needs.
Compensation & Contractor Details
This is a 1099 contractor role with an hourly rate of $28 to $33. Contractors are paid monthly based on hours worked (typically 45 to 130 hours per month). Note: Applicants in California, Colorado, Montana, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania are not considered.
